Position Summary We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team at our Plano, TX headquarters. This hands-on role will partner closely with the Controller to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general accounting for multiple entities. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, proven leadership skills, and a passion for process improvement in a fast-paced, high-growth setting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access).
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with NetSuite.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP.
  • Proven ability to work with sensitive, confidential information.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High energy, team-oriented, and adaptable to changing priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review and prepare account analyses, reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Generate weekly, monthly, and ad hoc financial and operational reports.
  • Support financial statement preparation, including variance analysis.
  • Review billing processes and assist in process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with regulatory filings, Tax preparation, and other compliance activities.
  • Provide timely, accurate responses to management inquiries.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.
