Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, accounts payable/receivable specialist, or in a similar finance-related role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and budget tracking
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and financial documentation tools
- Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Facility Agent Card (if required)
- Must be able to sit for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
Nice To Haves
- Acumatica or comparable accounting software experience preferred
- Experience in retail or cannabis industry is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
Responsibilities
- Record daily transactions and sales across our retail and wholesale operations
- Process accounts payable and receivable with speed and accuracy
- Reconcile bank statements and prepare monthly financial reports
- Support audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Organize and maintain financial records and documentation
- Collaborate with senior accountants to support month-end and year-end closings
- Assist in tracking budgets and creating expense reports
