About The Position
We are seeking a hands-on Staff Accountant to support a high-functioning accounting team during a transitional period. This individual will play a critical role in managing day-to-day accounting operations, allowing senior leadership to focus on strategic priorities and organizational restructuring. This is a temporary role with strong potential for permanent conversion based on performance and team fit.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of accounting experience (Staff or Senior Staff level preferred)
- Strong understanding of debits, credits, and core accounting principles
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems (mid-tier or above; not QuickBooks-only)
- Prior experience with: AP processing, Expense management, Reconciliations
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
Responsibilities
- Process Accounts Payable invoices and support payment cycles
- Manage Travel & Expense (T&E) submissions, coding, and approvals
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Execute data entry and transactional accounting tasks within ERP system
- Support day-to-day accounting operations alongside AP Manager
- Assist with general ledger support and basic accounting functions
- Maintain accuracy and organization across financial records
- Learn and operate within the company’s ERP system (Deacom)
