We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our close-knit finance team. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, you will be a key player in our day-to-day financial operations. This is a hybrid role based out of our vibrant Atlanta and Halcyon office, requiring 2-3 days on-site per week. This is an incredible opportunity for an accounting professional who wants to gain deep experience in a high-growth SaaS environment, working alongside a talented team including two Senior Accountants, a Controller, and our CFO.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar capacity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with NetSuite or Brex is a significant plus.
  • An organized approach to handling high-volume transactions with 100% accuracy.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • A proactive learner who solicits feedback and looks for ways to improve processes.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and core business processes (AR/AP).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.

Responsibilities

  • Own the daily posting of expenses and cash transactions within NetSuite, ensuring our financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Lead the vendor onboarding process, including W-9 collection and system setup.
  • Review Brex corporate credit card transactions to ensure alignment with company policies and accounting procedures.
  • Maintain supporting documentation for expenses within Brex and NetSuite.
  • Actively participate in the month-end close process, collaborating with the team to meet deadlines and ensure reporting integrity.
  • Support the Accounting Manager on special projects that contribute to the department’s goals.
