We’re hiring multiple Staff Accountants to join our growing accounting team in St. Paul, MN! Are you ready to grow your accounting career? We’re looking for Staff Accountants to join our team in St. Paul, MN! Whether your experience is in Accounts Receivable (AR) or Accounts Payable (AP), this role offers the chance to deepen your expertise and build new skills across either of these areas as well as general accounting. This position starts onsite for 3–6 months to support hands-on learning, then can transition to a hybrid schedule with the opportunity for some remote work. You’ll report to the Accounting Manager or Controller and work closely with a collaborative team that values problem-solvers and go-getters.

  • Generate and distribute a high volume of customer invoices accurately and on time.
  • Record and post customer payments.
  • Follow up on overdue accounts via phone and email.
  • Manage credit holds and maintain customer account details, including credit checks and limit monitoring.
  • Review, code, and process vendor invoices promptly, ensuring proper approvals.
  • Collaborate with purchasing and receiving teams for accurate 3-way matching of POs, receipts, and invoices.
  • Prepare and schedule vendor payments (check, ACH, wire).
  • Maintain vendor records and resolve discrepancies.
  • Drive efficiency through automation tools and process improvements.
  • Assist with month-end close activities, journal entries, and reconciliations working on fixed assets, prepaids and accruals.
  • Prepare daily bank reconciliations.
  • Support audits and tax preparation with documentation and responses.
  • Participate in inventory updates and reconciliations.
  • Contribute to special projects and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Previous experience in AR, AP, or general accounting (high-volume processing a plus) in a business-to-business environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize effectively and efficiently.
  • A problem-solver with a customer-focused approach and integrity in all financial activities.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or related field.
  • Experience in a multiplant industrial manufacturing environment.
