About The Position

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for preparing and analyzing daily fuel payouts to multiple vendors, reviewing daily invoices from wholesalers, and validating payments against deliveries. The role also involves preparing month-end journals related to wholesale invoice reconciliations and collaborating with multiple business users daily for invoicing approval and processing. The Staff Accountant should possess knowledge of accounting, including spreadsheet preparation, and have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited college.
2-3+ years of experience in full cycle accounting.
Understanding of accounting procedures, concepts, and internal control processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft products, including Excel and Word.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze daily fuel payouts to multiple vendors.
Review daily invoices from wholesalers and compare against deliveries to validate payments.
Prepare month-end journals related to wholesale invoice reconciliations.
Perform ad hoc projects as requested by management.
Prepare monthly account reconciliation in Certification.
Collaborate with multiple business users daily for invoicing approval and processing.
