About The Position

We're seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing Accounting team. This role is designed for candidates with 1-2 years of professional accounting experience, with a strong preference for those coming from public accounting or audit backgrounds. You'll work closely with Senior Accountants on close processes, audit support, and compliance-driven initiatives that help ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
• 1-2 years of professional accounting experience (required)
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, including fixed assets, depreciation, and balance sheet accounts
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis)
• Experience working within established internal controls and compliance frameworks
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Clear communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams

Nice To Haves

• Public accounting and/or audit experience strongly preferred
• Prior exposure to ERP systems and audit support preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in monthly close procedures, reconciliations, and balance sheet reviews
• Manage and review credit card and marketing invoices
• Track accrued liabilities and expense accounts
• Support budget preparation, reporting, and variance analysis
• Prepare supporting documentation for internal and external audits
• Assist with audit readiness, controls, and process improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with internal controls and company policies
• Support accounting projects under the direction of Senior Accountants
