About The Position

NorthKey Community Care is seeking a full-time Staff Accountant to provide compliance with internal and external financial processes and reporting in a friendly, positive, and professional manner in an outpatient healthcare environment. HOURS: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm ON-SITE. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field preferred, however, an associate's degree in accounting or a related field combined with 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience will be considered
  • Ability to work independently
  • Good Communication/presentation skills
  • Proficient in the use of PC and business software (in particular Microsoft, Dynamics, and Acumatica)

Responsibilities

  • Work with the CFO/Controller and other financial and organizational staff to ensure compliance with internal and external financial processes and reporting.
  • Adhere to Personnel, Administrative, and Departmental policies.
  • Adhere to strict confidentiality in all matters about fiscal information, especially payroll data.
  • Maintain an appropriate, pleasant, and business-like manner in dealing with all internal staff, Board members, State and Governmental staff, sub-contractors, and vendors of NorthKey and Properties.
  • Proper representation as a NorthKey employee to the general public.
  • Develop and maintain internal reporting systems/processes to provide useful financial and budgetary reports to clinical directors and managers.
  • Manage and maintain current and future financial software.
  • Develop expertise in related software to improve the versatility, efficiency, and effectiveness of financial processes within the organization.
  • Manage Guardianship financial process, documentation, and reporting.
  • Build Credible reports as needed.
  • Reconcile client and insurance payments between Credible and Bank.
  • Ensure accuracy of Financial Reports.
  • Imports and Exports from Credible, Dynamics/Acumatica, etc.
  • Maintain allocations listings and units (locations) listings
  • Assist the CFO/Accounting Manager in other financial activities as instructed.
