About The Position

As a Staff Accountant, you will manage a wide range of accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable and Financial Reporting, with a focus on International Accounting. Your key responsibilities will include: Assisting with accounts receivable aging and account reconciliations. Supporting the collection of past due accounts. Preparing and posting accurate journal entries for accruals, reclasses, currency adjustments, and intercompany transactions. Assisting with month-end close activities for domestic and international entities. Reconciling general ledger accounts, including AP, AR, inventory, and intercompany balances. Supporting the preparation of consolidated financial reports across multiple legal entities and currencies. Ensuring compliance with GAAP and applicable international accounting standards. Providing financial data to external auditors and supporting global compliance initiatives. Assisting the Director of Finance with internal reporting, strategic planning, and international financial analysis.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of accounting experience, including exposure to international accounting, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and familiarity with IFRS or local international accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) and Excel.
  • Experience with multi-currency transactions, foreign exchange adjustments, and international tax considerations.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with global teams in different time zones.
