This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate with internship experience who wants to build a strong foundation in accounting while gaining exposure to a fast growing, multi entity business. In this role, you will work closely with an experienced Controller and a collaborative finance team, gaining hands on experience across all core areas of accounting. You will not be siloed. Instead, you will be actively involved in real work that drives the business forward. You will play a key role in the day to day accounting operations and month end close process, including:

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Internship or early experience in accounting preferred
• Basic understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• A proactive mindset and willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a fast moving environment and take ownership of your work

Responsibilities

• Supporting the monthly close by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
• Assisting with financial reporting and analyzing key balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Working with accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, cash application, and collections follow up
• Processing bi weekly payroll through ADP
• Maintaining accurate general ledger records across multiple entities
• Partnering with the team to improve processes and strengthen accounting procedures
• Supporting audit requests and interacting with external auditors
