Position Summary We are seeking a detailed oriented and highly organized Staff Accountant to join our Americas Accounting team. The ideal candidate will support month‑end close, general ledger activities, reconciliations, and financial reporting to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. This role is critical in maintaining strong accounting controls and supporting cross‑functional teams with financial data.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or related area
  • 1 to 3 years of related experience working in a public company environment
  • Strong computer skills, including the use of Microsoft products and other enterprise platforms; NetSuite and Oracle Fusion experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical capabilities along with excellent organization and communication skills required.
  • Ability to work in a fast- paced and rapidly changing environment while prioritizing deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares expense accrual and related journal entries for posting to the general ledger.
  • Prepares payroll journal entries for posting to the general ledger.
  • Maintains fixed assets, records depreciation and prepaid amortization.
  • Performs unclaimed property monitoring and testing.
  • Performs monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations and roll forward schedules.
  • Resolves general ledger account reconciliation variances by performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Performs reclasses and expense accrual adjustments during month end as directed by FP&A.
  • Prepares annual property tax filing information and provides to tax department.
  • Supports internal and external audit requests.
  • Ensures compliance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Partners with FP&A and the business to ensure accuracy of financial data is recorded.
  • Supports Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as needed.
  • Performs ad hoc assignments as requested.
