About The Position

As a Senior Accountant, you will perform daily accounting tasks that will support our home building business and maintain organized and professional records following company accounting processes, ultimately helping the company accomplish its goals. ABOUT YOU A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field Proficiency in accounting software and systems. Quickbooks a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Experience with financial reporting and analysis. Experience with internal controls and audit readiness. HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Ensure all vendor documents are maintained and up to date (i.e. contracts, Form W-9, and certification of insurance) Request bank draws from various banks and enter into Quickbooks Vendor Payment Processing - enter purchase orders (PO) into Quickbooks, generate checks / ACH and supporting documentation Ensure positive pay with various banks is processed timely Prepare monthly bank account reconciliations Monitor vendor communications, entering non PO invoices into Quickbooks and resolve any questions within 5 business days Monitor company credit cards and enter into Quickbooks Perform other duties as requested by Manager REPORTING RELATIONSHIP The Staff Accountant reports to the Accounting Specialist JOB HOURS This is a full-time position. Between the hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday through Friday. MORE THAN A JOB Access to professional and personal training, lunch and learns, leadership workshops and other development opportunities.
