About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant with at least 2 years of accounting experience. This role will be responsible for assisting with daily accounting operations, preparing financial reports, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and eager to grow their accounting knowledge while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience (corporate or public)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and standard accounting practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Nice To Haves

• Experience with ERP systems
• Familiarity with reconciliations and financial reporting processes

Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and journal entries
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and supporting schedules
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and documentation
• Assist with audits by preparing supporting documentation
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles (GAAP)
• Identify and recommend process improvements for efficiency and accuracy
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting issues
