About The Position
The Staff Accountant position at Clearwater Marine Aquarium involves a variety of accounting responsibilities including preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, managing accounts payable and receivable, performing bank reconciliations, filing tax returns, generating financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, assisting with monthly closing procedures, payroll processing, and forecasting/budgeting. The role requires general ledger management, personnel management, and support for various projects and audits. The accountant will also manage fixed assets and collaborate with the Human Resources team to ensure accurate payroll processing.
