This position is responsible for supporting daily payroll accounting activities and monthly financial close, balance sheet and P&L analysis, account reconciliations and other projects as assigned. All aspects of Payroll Accounting including US and Canada. Supporting the Franchise accounting reconciliation for ADP and Payroll People all aspects.

Payroll Franchise Accounting is responsible for reconciliation and working directly with ADP/Payroll People.
Work closely during Month End Close to meet the respective deadline during the close process.
Responsible for analyzing and recording monthly accruals.
Prepare and Review General Ledger Account Reconciliations.
Perform account research and analysis to determine trends and make recommendations.
Develop understanding of processes and implement improvements.
Prepare account reconciliations for assigned accounts and follow up promptly on reconciling items.
Prepare wire requests for assigned payroll services and monitor payroll clearing accounts.
Reconciliation of outstanding items correct in a timely manner.
Work closely in all aspects of the Payroll Department in respect to accounting.

Bachelors/4 Yr Degree
3+ years of relevant work experience
In-depth working knowledge of GAAP, specifically related to general accounting, accounts receivable, and revenue recognition
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and communication skills
Ability to work in fast-paced environment and under tight deadlines
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office

CPA certification or candidate is preferred, but not required
