Requirements

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Junior, Rising Senior or Graduate status preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.)
• Familiarity with accounting software is a plus (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
• Analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Nice To Haves

• Previous internship or coursework in accounting or finance is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Financial Record Keeping: Support the accounting team with tasks such as data entry, maintaining accurate ledgers, and ensuring all transactions are recorded properly.
• Assist in Financial Reporting: Help prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements. Provide data analysis and report any discrepancies.
• Account Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling accounts, including bank accounts, general ledger, and other related transactions.
• Support Month-End and Year-End Closing: Assist with the preparation of monthly and year-end closings, including journal entries, accruals, and financial adjustments.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Help analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies. Provide insights for decision-making and reporting purposes.
• Assist with Audit Preparation: Help prepare documentation and schedules for internal and external audits. Support the auditing team by gathering necessary information.
• General Administrative Tasks: Provide administrative support to the accounting department, including filing, organizing financial documents, and other ad-hoc tasks.
