Job Summary Reporting to the Fixed Assets Manager, this position will work closely with the Fixed Assets and GL team and be responsible for assisting with many aspects of Fixed Assets-related activities, including but not limited to, classifying fixed assets, running depreciation runs, preparing month-end close journal entries, and preparing GL account reconciliations. Requirements

  • BS/BA in Accounting.
  • Minimum 3 years working in an Operational Accounting, General Ledger Accounting, or other accounting role to include monthly close activities.
  • High integrity, solid work ethic and exceptionally detail oriented.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, evolving environment, meet close deadlines, multi-task and stay organized.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP Fixed Assets module, FinQuery and Maximo a plus

Responsibilities

  • Performs month end close duties and associated journal entries.
  • Maintain the Assets Under Construction open items and run monthly depreciation postings.
  • Post monthly lease invoices.
  • Work closely with Fleet team and stations to track fixed assets acquisitions, transfers and disposals to mirror financial systems.
  • Completes assigned month-end tasks in a timely manner.
  • Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the business operations, financial systems and the general ledger structure.
  • Account Reconciliations at the end of each month.
  • Support external audit by providing necessary PBC items.
  • Assist in special projects and/or other areas as assigned by manager.
