About The Position
MTech Systems is a global SaaS leader delivering data‑driven solutions to the live animal protein industry. Our finance team plays a key role in supporting accurate reporting and operational excellence as we scale. We are seeking a detail‑oriented Staff Accountant to support day‑to-day accounting operations, including revenue recognition, payroll accounting, and monthly close activities. This role is well‑suited for someone who enjoys structured work, accuracy, and growth within a finance organization.
Responsibilities
- Execute revenue recognition journal entries in accordance with policy
- Own payroll accounting, including bonus and PTO accruals and reconciliations
- Support monthly close activities and account reconciliations
- Prepare schedules and assist with balance sheet reviews
- Support audit requests and documentation
- Partner with FinOps and Controllership teams on daily accounting needs
- Assist with process improvement and documentation efforts
