About The Position

We seek a professional with a Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or Business to fill the role of Staff Accountant - Financial System. The ideal candidate has superb organization and prioritization skills, meets deadlines, and stays on top of important details. The candidate should enjoy collaborating with a team and support where needed. The Staff Accountant - Financial System supports Fiscal Management - Financial Systems. The role is structured so that an individual with experience with financial systems, data analysis and process improvements will be an ideal fit. Specifically, the Staff Accountant - Financial Systems will: System Data Entry & Maintenance - Support the finance team by entering, validating, and maintaining accurate financial data in Sage Intacct. Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance system efficiencies. User Support & Troubleshooting - Provide support to staff for basic system questions and troubleshoot common issues in Sage Intacct. System Documentation & Training - Assist in maintaining finance system documentation (policies, workflows, and training guides) and support onboarding/training of staff on system processes. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or Business and 2 years related experience or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Basic familiarity with Sage Intacct is required; experience with Agiloft is preferred.
  • Effective communication, presentation, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to collaborate in both independent and team settings within a dynamic environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and adeptness at managing multiple tasks and interactions concurrently.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in non-profit accounting is a plus.
  • Familiarity with grants management is advantageous.
