Ducera Partners has offices in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Stamford. The successful candidate will provide support across the firm as part of the internal control framework.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience in an accounting role within the financial services industry, ideally for a public accounting firm or an SEC registered or FINRA member broker-dealer.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and working knowledge of accounting principles.
• High levels of ethics, integrity, and judgment.

Responsibilities

• Generate and distribute monthly client invoices, support accounts payable and receivable, and assist with collections as needed.
• Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries and bank reconciliations.
• Assist with the preparation of basic financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Review submitted expense reports for accuracy.
• Prepare documentation and schedules for external auditors during audits.
• Ensure adherence to internal accounting policies and procedures and assist in maintaining compliance with GAAP.

Benefits

• Expected annualized base salary range: $70,000 - $85,000
• Total compensation package may include other components.
