About The Position

This individual leads, plans, synthesizes ambiguous or conflicting requirements and performs the complex responsibility of the This individual leads, plans, synthesizes ambiguous or conflicting requirements, and leverages advanced Video and Computer Vision Engineering knowledge and experience to research and develop critical 3D Reconstruction and Computer Vision Hardware Accelerators. Strong understanding of 3D and Computer Vision fundamentals and mathematics, covering SLAM, 3D pose tracking, 3D scene understanding, 3D Mesh Simplification, human pose estimation, and mathematical optimization. Designs, develops, implements, and verifies complex HW and FW tasks including 3D Reconstruction algorithms, Motion Processing unit, Depth processing unit, memory sub system, and Features. Performs complex architecture, standard study, algorithm, and feature decomposition to drive requirements and specifications for hardware development. Ensures advanced KPIs, systems performance, and area and power metrics are met. Drives triage of complex problems to determine root causes and addresses the issues. Collaborates with cross-functional teams (e.g., design verification and test) to analyze product requirements for new architecture for CV modules or the modification of an existing design for various markets including mobile, automotive, IoT, and others. Leads the design of a 3D reconstruction system and develops complex features and components in line with proposals or roadmaps for advanced products. Writes detailed technical documentation and feature descriptions for complex projects to guide users and/or customers in using or implementing output. Acts as a strong contributor at design reviews and project meetings and communicates and implements a development plan.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree field and two (2) years of experience in a related occupation.
  • Bachelor's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree field and six (6) years of progressive experience in a related occupation.
  • Strong understanding of 3D and Computer Vision fundamentals and mathematics, covering SLAM, 3D pose tracking, 3D scene understanding, 3D Mesh Simplification, human pose estimation, and mathematical optimization.
