About The Position

Opal Foods is accepting applications for the position of Stackoff for our School Processing Plant in Neosho, MO. This position is responsible for stacking cases of production on to pallets while maintaining compliance with all company policies and governmental regulations. This position will also assist the production lead with other projects and duties as needed. Opal Foods, formed in 2014, is a partnership between Rose Acre Farms and Weaver Brothers. Requirements

• Follow all Opal Foods Policies and Procedures including but not limited to Safety, Bio-security, FDA, SQF and GMP
• Ability to perform physical activities such as walking, standing, turning, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, manual dexterity, and eye-hand coordination
• Ability to establish and maintain good relationships and communication with co-workers
• Dependability and ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Willingness and ability to comply with Opal Foods biosecurity policies requiring employees to have no contact with any bird species of any kind, other than the laying hens owned by the company, including but not limited to domestic ducks, geese, wild birds, chickens, and pet birds of any kind

Responsibilities

• Stack boxes and crates of eggs onto pallets once they are boxed and crated
• Monitor and fix the tape machine
• Help other positions and clean up as needed
• Ensure boxes and crates are put on the correct pallets, labels are correct, and boxes are sealed properly, requiring attention to detail
• Transport eggs from Processing to the Cooler and unload carton trucks as needed
• Comfortably lift 25-45 lbs. up to 5 feet high to place on stacked pallets
• Assist the production lead with other projects and duties as needed
