About The Position

Comply with all company safety policies and procedures as well as complying with all OSHA rules and regulations. (THINK SAFETY FIRST.) Adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMP) including proper waste disposal, attire, grooming and hygiene, etc Obtain work schedule from supervisor, obtain supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations. Perform daily safety check of the assigned Hi-Lift / Forklift / Power Jack in accordance with company policy. Full-time AMD (Autonomous Manufacturing Development) Member CSD (Continuous Skills Development) Pillar Team Member DDS (Daily Direct Setting) support Check the production schedule for the product being run and check to ensure the proper packaging supplies are available. Obtain empty pallets and position to the conveyor line according to product to be palletized. Receive cases of various products from conveyor and hand- palletize cases on appropriate pallet according to work order and stack pattern. Inspect items or packages for leakers or damage and perform quality checks taking appropriate action as needed. Operate and clean tape machine and mark-em, changing tape as necessary. Scan case weights and follow weight sheet tally procedures. Wrap full pallets with stretch wrap and notify Forklift Operator to remove full pallets or transport full pallet of finish goods to auto-stretch wrap machine with pallet jack to be wrapped. Operate and monitor auto palletizer machine, remove full wrapped pallets and apply appropriate label as required. Receive product, pick orders, load trucks and put away product using the SAP system as required using the forklift. Take and maintain accurate inventory. Rotate date-sensitive stock to the front of the rack and / or remove out of date inventory according to company policy. Change rolls of stretch wrap on stretch wrap and load empty pallets into palletizer hopper with Hi-lift as required Keep the work area clean, transport, inspect and stack empty pallets, remove broken or damaged pallets as required. At end of shift, secure all equipment, perform general housekeeping duties, re-charge forklift batteries and complete required paperwork. Other job duties assigned.
