About The Position

The Stacker Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the stacker, ensuring the correct pallet pattern while palletizing finished goods and various products. This role involves adjusting the stacker to the proper case size, ensuring optimal efficiency, and moving palletized products to the appropriate location for loadout. The operator must report any food safety and quality issues to management and maintain safe working conditions in compliance with state and federal regulations. Adherence to good manufacturing practices (GMP) and corporate regulatory requirements is essential.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Production or general work experience preferred
• Certification and/or License may be required during course of employment
• Able to follow directions and carry out instructions
• Able to effectively work in a team environment
• Able to legibly write entries for record keeping
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Must be able to read, write and speak English

Responsibilities

• Adjust stacker to proper case size and ensure it is running at optimal efficiency
• Ensure equipment has been set for proper pallet pattern per product requirements
• Move palletized product into the proper location for loadout of product
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
• Other duties may be assigned as required
