Requirements

  • High School Diploma (Preferred)
  • Less than 1 year of experience (Preferred)
  • Bending/stooping/twisting, Max 45 lbs lifting (High proficiency)
  • Able to visually concentrate and listen intensely for extended periods of time (Medium proficiency)
  • Able to stand, sit, lift, bend, crouch, reach consistently for eight hours (High proficiency)
  • Able to grasp and manipulate a variety of packaging components (i.e. Sprayers, bottles, caps) (High proficiency)
  • Must be able to work in accordance with Health and Safety and GMP regulations (High proficiency)

Responsibilities

  • Stack all production in accordance to pallet patterns established on master specification sheet and responsible for checking the codes in the boxes (shippers) and ensuring these codes are legible/correct.
  • Responsible for placing license plates in all production skids.
  • Clean assigned production areas during downtime.
  • Responsible for partial and full skid counts.
  • Responsible for moving skids using a hand pump truck/pallet jack to move single pallets of finished goods out of a line.
  • Dump bottles and caps into the appropriate hopper scan all incoming materials license plates, as required.
  • Load tape heads and clear any potential jamming in the case sealer.
  • Perform all lower or equal labor grade duties as required by supervision.
  • Input batch information for finished good tickets.
  • Record production in computer or paper log.
  • When applicable, utilize line computer - enter and/or edit all skid tickets and TSM information into computer.
  • Responsible for quality finished line product inspection.
  • Responsible for checking case coding legibility and accuracy.
  • Perform clean-up duties on conveyors and sealing machines, as required.
  • Perform other departmental duties as directed by supervision, including packing.
  • Assist in line and product changeovers as required.
  • Perform all duties with safety consciousness and regard for safety of other personnel.
  • Comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, and Plant Policies and Procedures.
