About The Position
This position is responsible for assisting with the overall maintenance and daily running of the facility, including the feeding and cleaning stalls of horses.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of horse handling experience and farm maintenance preferred
- Working knowledge of horses and horse care
- Keen attention to detail
- Works well independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Stall cleaning
- Barn cleaning
- Feeding of horses 3x per day
- Turn out and bringing in of horses
- Watering of horses
- Arena watering and dragging
- Sweeping of aisles
- Haying paddocks
- Stocking hay in the barn
- Trash removal
- Other duties as assigned
