STA Site Engineer

As a Supplier Technical Assistance (STA) engineer, you will be responsible for industrializing and managing “Quality” and “Capacity” of commodities at Tier 1 Supplier sites on “new model program” launches and “in-series” production. New model program launches include Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) and Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicles. Depending on your assigned Supplier site locations, flexibility to travel within NA (US, MX, and Canada) is required (max. 3-4 days / week). Responsibilities
- Implement commodity-specific business plans to ensure your suppliers exceed all corporate launch, quality, capacity, warranty metrics, and vehicle delivery
- Lead cross-functional decisions with Ford & Supplier leadership to drive resolution of open issues.
- Implement actions to ensure zero vehicle losses from suppliers
- Principal for on-site troubleshooting and corrective actions for emergency supplier situations
