About The Position

Purpose: The STA Operator performs cleaning and chemical processing on dental implants; labels, assembles and packages dental implants and abutments in a clean room environment. Accountabilities: Help achieve business results, that include Safety, Quality, Productivity, Delivery and Past due targets Perform cleaning and chemical processing of dental implants and abutments Assemble and package dental implants and abutments in a cleanroom environment Operate multiple workstations throughout the work shift Perform minor troubleshooting of equipment issues Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies Work closely with peers, Team Lead, and support staff such as Engineering Technicians, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Management to escalate and resolve various production related issues

Requirements

  • High School diploma; some college preferred.
  • Must understand technical drawings
  • Understand eDHR (Electronic Device History Record)
  • Understands and complies with all safety and area cleanliness policies, must successfully Complete all SOP Training
  • Knowledge of inspection equipment (microscope)
  • Sufficient mechanical knowledge to be capable of troubleshooting simple equipment issues
  • Knowledge of Food and Drug Administration "Good Manufacturing Practices" and ISO 9001
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Must be able to lift 25lbs at a minimum
  • Have 20/20 vision with or without aid
  • Able to communicate; speak and write in English at a High School Level.
  • Reading comprehension at a High School level.
  • Computer literacy: basic knowledge/familiarity with PC, basic data entry, SAP a plus.

  • Understand and complies with FDA, QSR and ISO 9001 requirements
  • Capable of conducting all TPM (Total Production Maintenance) requirements
  • Must be able to train co-workers when needed (mentor)
  • Effective communication skills
  • Performs other duties as assigned
