About The Position

As an SSD RMA Engineer, you will lead failure analysis efforts on returned SSDs, identifying root causes and driving corrective actions. This role combines hands-on technical investigation with cross-functional collaboration and customer-facing support.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electronics, Computer, or Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in product engineering, validation, or quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of SSD architecture and NAND flash memory operations.
• Proven experience in system-level testing and failure analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the storage industry and customer-facing technical roles.
• Familiarity with PCIe, SATA, and bus tracing tools for debugging.
• Strong time management and project coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical failure analysis on returned SSDs.
• Generate and deliver detailed failure analysis reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead escalated RMA cases, ensuring timely updates and resolution.
• Set up and manage debug systems for error replication and Design of Experiments (DOE).
• Provide technical consultation to customer-facing teams based on data-driven insights.
