About The Position

As an SSD RMA (Returned Material Authorization) Engineer, you will lead failure analysis efforts on customer-returned SSDs, identifying root causes and contributing to product quality enhancements. In a lead role, you will also manage workflow, prioritize tasks, and mentor team members to support career development and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer, or Systems Engineering
• Solid understanding of NAND flash memory and SSD architecture
• Strong project and time management skills
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Nice To Haves

• Experience with PCIE, SATA, and bus tracing tools
• Programming knowledge (e.g., Python, C++)
• Proven ability to manage escalations and cross-functional communication
• Flexible work schedule and commitment to ongoing technical development
• Leadership experience in workflow management and team development

Responsibilities

• Conduct electrical and mechanical failure analysis on SSD customer returns
• Generate and communicate detailed FA reports to external customers
• Manage escalation processes and coordinate with internal teams
• Maintain and expand knowledge of FA tools and methodologies
• Serve as a technical liaison for customer-facing teams, offering data insights and consultation
