About The Position

Requirements

• 1 Year RN experience in related clinic area.
• California Registered Nurse (RN) - CA Board of Registered Nursing - REQUIRED.
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - REQUIRED.
• ACLS Certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - REQUIRED.

Nice To Haves

• Ambulatory care experience.
• Successful completion of conscious sedation training and testing.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients, staff, and physicians to maintain operational efficiency and customer service.
• Lead the Nursing and Patient Service Representative Staff.
• Serve as a technical nursing expert for assigned areas.
• Exhibit critical thinking skills and physiologic monitoring of patients undergoing endoscopic examinations.
• Prepare, use, dismantle, clean, and sterilize endoscopes.
• Recover patients receiving IV conscious sedation.
• Document all patient encounter data accurately.
• Prepare patients for procedures and monitor them post-procedure.
• Partner with physicians to expand clinical knowledge and provide patient education.
• Participate in clinical projects as directed by the physician or manager.
