As a Fraud Strategist, you’ll be at the forefront of protecting Accertify clients from emerging threats. In this critical role, you’ll proactively monitor account protection events, identify and mitigate potential attacks, and deliver actionable insights that make a real impact. Your expertise will help shape strategies that keep fraud at bay and safeguard our clients’ trust.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of data analytics with a focus on fraud prevention
  • 3+ years of previous e-commerce CNP fraud prevention experience in a high transaction volume environment
  • In-depth understanding of account-related risks, including but not limited to account takeover, new account fraud, and loyalty abuse. Strong knowledge of fraud mitigation strategies to combat these risks.
  • Proven ability to analyze, interpret, document, and communicate e-commerce fraud threats and trends effectively and deliver highly detailed technical information in presentation form
  • Experience working in highly cross-functional environments; must be flexible and can adapt to working with tight deadlines and changing priorities
  • Must be a self-starter with a demonstrated ability to proactively and independently solve problems and drive results
  • Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience using reporting/data visualization tools such as Splunk and Tableau 
  • Critical thinker with strong strategic planning skills who can adapt quickly by grasping and applying new technical concepts
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent working experience

Nice To Haves

  • Accertify Interceptas or other fraud prevention platform experience; Accertify Account Protection experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor Account Protection clients and events to identify potential attacks and alert account managers or clients.
  • Consult with clients on strategy, reporting, ROI analysis, and recommendation workflows.
  • Create insights and custom reports to support tailored strategies and demonstrate ROI.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (AI, Product, Onboarding) to share feedback and improvement opportunities.
  • Tag negative events for model optimization and maintain accurate data for analysis.
  • Conduct internal and external platform training sessions.
