About The Position

We are seeking an SRE to join this Digital team. There are 5 main 'products' built and developed within the Chief Digital Officers organization, all of which are external customer focused, and therefore are highly critical. Candidates will be focused on reliability, scalability, observability, monitoring, and performance, as well as automation using Terraform. In addition, candidates will be responsible for adherence to SLO/SLA's. Other duties include: how to secure and document services, establish autoscaling, write automation scripts in Terraform (prefer python, Bash, and powershell), develop and maintain reusable components, performance monitoring using Splunk APM, and work with product and development teams to understand needs, upcoming objectives, and then communicate with cloud engineering team for provisioning cloud infrastructure environments.

Requirements

• Expert level experience in Cloud, Kubernetes, Terraform, Azure.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with AKS, Kubernetes, Function App services, Azure Service Bus, Event Hub.
• General cloud fundamentals.
