About The Position

This role will help drive the technical strategy, development, and deployment of workflow, planning, and analytics solutions across the organization using modern platforms. By partnering closely with business teams, the role will design and optimize advanced Anaplan models, deliver high‑impact Power BI reporting, and shape the next generation of workflow tools as the ecosystem expands. The role will create scalable, self‑service capabilities that empower users, improve decision‑making, and unlock the full value of enterprise data and analytics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum years of experience 3 years
  • Hands‑on experience designing, building, and optimizing Anaplan models.
  • Anaplan Level 2 Model Builder certification or equivalent training (additional certifications such as Level 3 or Solution Architect preferred).
  • Understanding of commercial processes such as budgeting, forecasting, and revenue planning.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, high‑performing models and dashboards.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, including connecting data from Anaplan and other sources to produce actionable dashboards.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities (pivot tables, formulas, charts, Anaplan Excel add‑in).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple functions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high‑quality work in fast‑paced environments.
  • Experience with Anaplan integrations (Anaplan Connect, APIs, CloudWorks, HyperConnect, or other ETL tools).
  • Familiarity with workflow management, ALM, Hub‑Spoke architecture, and NUX page design.
  • Experience with Lean/Agile methodologies.
  • Background in regional/global application operations (incident and problem management).
  • Understanding of data integration concepts and experience partnering with SMEs on data requirements.

  • Interest in continuous learning and adoption of new workflow and analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and enhance workflow platform models (primarily Anaplan, with potential expansion into platforms such as Varicent) to support enterprise workforce planning and execution strategies.
  • Build and manage scalable model structures, including Hub‑Spoke architecture, ALM processes, hierarchies, lists, and New UX experiences.
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather business requirements, translate them into technical designs, and develop clear documentation such as process flows, user guides, and solution design specifications.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and business architects to define new or enhanced data needs and ensure alignment with enterprise data strategy.
  • Ensure model performance, governance, and security by applying best practices and proactive health monitoring.
  • Integrate and reconcile data from multiple systems to maintain accuracy, consistency, and reliability across workflow and reporting platforms.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards connected to Anaplan and other workflow platforms to deliver insights that support data‑driven leadership decisions.
  • Train and support end users, promoting adoption of self‑service capabilities and effective utilization of workflow models and dashboards.
  • Conduct current‑state process mapping, identify optimization opportunities, and support process transformation initiatives.
  • Develop test cases, manage defect resolution, and support UAT for both functional and technical validation.
  • Coordinate across multiple business functions, communicating recommendations and design impacts with clarity and diplomacy.
  • Stay current with evolving best practices, workflow technologies, and data integration methods, with the agility to learn and adopt emerging platforms.
  • Contribute to planning and roadmap discussions by providing technical insights, risk identification, and solution recommendations.
