Senior Wiring Trainer – Manufacturing Operations Join our industry‑leading Manufacturing Operations team and take charge of developing advanced wiring capabilities across the organization. As a Senior Wiring Trainer, you will serve as the subject‑matter expert for wiring craftsmanship, drive training strategy, and mentor technicians and trainers to achieve world‑class performance in wiring assembly processes. What You Will Do · Lead Advanced Technical Training & Certification · Develop and deliver expert‑level training programs on complex wiring assembly, harness fabrication, cable management, and electrical component integration. · Establish and maintain advanced skills certifications, competency matrices, and progression pathways for wiring technicians and trainers. · Elevate Workforce Capability · Coach, mentor, and upskill technicians, leads, and junior trainers in precision wiring methods, quality standards, and root‑cause troubleshooting. · Assess workforce proficiency and partner with leadership to close skills gaps and ensure alignment with production demands. · Drive Training Strategy & Standardization · Create and enhance training materials, standard work instructions, visual guides, and performance assessments to ensure consistency across teams and shifts. · Serve as the wiring subject-matter authority, advising supervisors, engineers, and quality teams on best practices and process requirements. · Support Engineering, Quality, & Process Excellence · Collaborate with engineering and quality groups to translate new product designs, changes, and technical requirements into updated training content. · Lead initiatives that improve wiring accuracy, reduce defects, and enhance overall manufacturing efficiency and reliability. · Champion Continuous Improvement · Identify systemic training, process, or tooling gaps and recommend improvements that strengthen safety, throughput, and quality performance. · Maintain audit-ready documentation, training pathways, and certification records to support compliance efforts. What Will Make You Successful · Extensive expertise in wiring assembly, electrical harnessing, wire termination, routing, or related manufacturing processes. · Proven leadership in coaching, mentoring, and influencing technicians and trainers across varying skill levels. · Deep understanding of electrical standards, wiring quality requirements, and industry/Schneider Electric specifications. · Strong troubleshooting capabilities, including the ability to lead others through fault isolation and corrective action. · Experience designing curriculum, hands‑on training exercises, visual work instructions, and assessment tools. · Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities across engineering, quality, production, and workforce development teams. The department requires PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), plus Safety shoes and safety glasses must be worn on the production floor. Work is performed in a Manufacturing Environment, where prolonged period(s) of standing is required for duration of shift. Requires ability to reach overhead, pull, push, bend, squat, and climb a ladder to perform work. Ability to lift 26 pounds occasionally or 22 pounds independently and repetitively.
