About The Position

FWI is building a team to provide comprehensive administrative, executive, programmatic, and analytical support to the National Science Foundation's Office of Legislative and Public Affairs (OLPA). As a Senior Website Designer/Project Manager, you will lead the web team supporting NSF.gov and the NSF Employee Portal, overseeing web development services and ensuring high-quality, accessible, and user-centered digital experiences. Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or closely related discipline
Five years of professional experience in web development and web design services
Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience leading small teams to perform web development services
Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud suite for web image optimization
Experience using ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility requirements
Understanding of search engine optimization
Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee web development and design services for NSF
Develop and maintain web content for NSF.gov and the NSF Employee Portal using Drupal CMS, ServiceNow Employee Center, and Microsoft SharePoint
Create clear, compelling webpage layouts conforming to WCAG 2.0/Section 508 and federal plain language requirements
Provide customer support to NSF staff, handling requests, resolving issues, and monitoring ticket dashboards
Advise NSF staff on web design best practices, 508 compliance, and use of visuals
Prepare and submit monthly status reports and financial/expenditure reports
