About The Position

The Sr. Watch Engineer will act as Lead Tech and will direct the activity of personnel and service contractors in the preventative and corrective maintenance of the buildings, grounds, and related fixed and portable equipment, minor construction, and equipment installation, will set up PM's throughout the facility and manage engineering central. Will be the approver for the documentations assign through engineering central and other general engineering work order and Plant Operation duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate / GED
  • Three years' experience as a Plant Operations Technician in an acute healthcare settings
  • Required Journey Electrician License, HVAC Certification, Journeyman Plumber, or 3 years' experience as a Plant Operation Technician in an acute healthcare setting.
  • Working knowledge of and ability to use basic hand tools and the test equipment specific to the field.
  • Ability to follow written instructions, perform tasks and document actions taken.
  • Articulate and demonstrate commitment to the Philosophy, Values, and Mission of MountainView Hospital & Medical Center.
  • Ability to consistently demonstrate the AIDET philosophy, Organizational Code of Ethics and adhere to the Compliance Program.
  • Basic understanding of all Utility Systems throughout MountainView Hospital & Medical Centers
