About The Position

The Senior Warehouse Manager leads warehouse operations at a strategic and financial level, overseeing managers and supervisors while ensuring safe, compliant, and cost‑effective operations. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, developing leadership talent, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business objectives. The Senior Warehouse Manager partners cross‑functionally to ensure warehouse capabilities support current and future business needs.

Requirements

  • Several years of progressive warehouse leadership experience managing both exempt and non‑exempt teams.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, KPIs, and productivity metrics.
  • Advanced leadership, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP and warehouse management systems required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in operations, supply chain, facilities management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience leading multi‑unit or large‑scale warehouse operations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own operational performance across warehouse facilities, including budgets, productivity targets, service levels, and cost controls.
  • Analyze operational and financial performance to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Lead, coach, and develop managers and supervisors; drive talent development, engagement, and succession planning.
  • Oversee workforce planning, recruitment, training, performance management, and corrective action.
  • Partner with internal customers, supply chain, finance, HR, safety, and vendors to align operational execution with business requirements.
  • Ensure service expectations and operational priorities are clearly communicated and achieved.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, systems enhancements, and capacity planning initiatives to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Champion continuous improvement and best practices across warehouse operations.
  • Strategically allocate labor, equipment, space, and capital to meet current demand and future growth.
  • Oversee inventory control, order fulfillment, transportation coordination, and asset maintenance.
  • Ensure a safe, compliant, and ethical work environment through consistent leadership and transparent communication.
  • Maintain workplace health, safety, cleanliness, and security standards in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Produce, review, and analyze operational, financial, and performance reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, audit requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
