About The Position

Manages the receiving, storage, and outbound movement of goods to ensure supply chain efficiency. They are a critical link between inventory management and order fulfillment for the Parts Center Hawaii stores.

Requirements

  • Driving is essential to this position. Must have and maintain a current driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
  • Must be able to work retail hours, which might include nights and/or weekends.
  • Basic computer skills
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED): or one to three months related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum 2 years of retail and wholesale parts and accessories experience.
  • Cash Handling experience required.
  • Experience with Point-of-Sale [POS] System required.

  • Basic Google Suite skills
  • Proficient with Inventory Management Software
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions. and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

  • Forklift Certification: Complete and obtain Forklift Certification within three (3) months from the first day of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Receives pallets of large volume from factory, barge and outside courier orders.
  • Verifies incoming shipments against purchase orders, inspect goods for damage
  • Unloads inbound shipments safely and efficiently.
  • Processes large outbound orders by picking, packing and labeling products/pallets for all store locations.
  • Splits pallets and places parts on designated pallets for large volume, factory and outside courier service orders daily for all store locations.
  • Splits places parts on designated pallets for large volume barge orders once a week for all store locations.
  • Uses scanner to verify all parts from pallets to identify the location of the store it belongs to ensure proper sorting before distribution
  • Completes posting and receiving are completed properly and accurately in the inventory system, reporting quality variance when needed
  • Ensures pallets are loaded with heaviest items at the bottom for stability, stacked securely with consistent weight distribution, tightly wrapped to prevent shifting and spills during transit for all store locations.
  • Coordinates with delivery courier and shipping companies to secure pick deadlines for all stores
  • Communicates with Store Leaders for all stores that inventory is in transit and expected delivery date
  • Conducts regular cycle inventory counts weekly, provides line reports to Store Leader to review
  • Takes part in all annual store parts inventory and periodic inventory events for all store locations.
  • Organizes line code products on the shelves ensuring they are rotated and stocked fully
  • Maintains proficiency in inventory management and retrieval of parts.
  • Verifies that invoice matches items that are being delivered or picked up for the Hilo and Kona store locations as needed.
  • Safely operates heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks for all store inventory distribution daily
  • Works with Store Leadership, at each location, to ensure delivery routes are running efficiently.
  • Maintains professional appearance and hygiene; Ensure work uniform and name badge always worn.
  • Completes and remains current with all mandatory manufacturing, safety compliance, safeguards, and cybersecurity training.
  • Assists with usage of the required delivery program and equipment.
  • Assists with coordinating last-minute pick-ups and deliveries by checking with leaders, inside salespeople (Counterperson), with Dispatcher and/or Warehouse personnel before leaving the store.
  • Assist with coordinating with Dispatcher for the most efficient route in delivering to customers and vendors.
  • Other duties as assigned by the PCH GM
