As a Sr. Vendor Management Specialist you will have the opportunity to secure cost-effective agreements, maintain compliance, and strengthen vendor relationships while working closely with the legal team and IT partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5+ years of vendor management experience, with extensive expertise in contract negotiation.
  • Strong understanding of IT procurement, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to assess vendor agreements, minimize risks, and drive cost-effective solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to engage vendors, legal teams, and internal stakeholders effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • Extensive experience working with IT contract frameworks and SLAs.
  • Extensive experience with large Global IT Vendors (i.e. Microsoft, ServiceNow, SAP).
  • Familiarity with cloud vendor agreements (Azure, AWS, SaaS solutions).
  • Certifications in procurement, Project Management, ITIL, or contract management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead high-impact discussions to secure favorable pricing, terms, and service-level agreements.
  • Partner with the legal department to ensure contracts align with company policies, regulatory standards, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee vendor contracts from initiation to renewal, ensuring adherence to terms and performance expectations.
  • Assess vendor risks, monitor adherence to IT security protocols, and enforce contractual obligations.
  • Track and manage IT vendor budget independently.
  • Work with IT leadership to align vendor agreements with business objectives and operational needs.
