About The Position

Rivian is on a mission to keep the world adventurous forever. This goes for the emissions-free Electric Adventure Vehicles we build, and the curious, courageous souls we seek to attract. As a company, we constantly challenge what’s possible, never simply accepting what has always been done. We reframe old problems, seek new solutions and operate comfortably in areas that are unknown. Our backgrounds are diverse, but our team shares a love of the outdoors and a desire to protect it for future generations. Role Summary As a Test Engineer, you are supporting all vehicle testing at a proving ground location for Rivian. At that location, you work closely with a shop of highly qualified technicians for both the setup and instrumentation of a vehicle. The types of testing will vary, but will be dependent on other groups within Rivian that will need testing performed for them remotely. Groups that interact closely with the test engineering group include dynamics, homologation, vehicle attributes, NVH, and more. Producing high quality test results utilizing the latest Rivian prototype vehicles on a shared proving ground with other OEMs involves challenges requiring teamwork, technical knowledge, and a great attitude.
