About The Position

Ready Logistics is launching a dedicated Fraud & Risk Management Team to proactively safeguard our carrier network, inventory, and operational integrity. This team will be responsible for identifying, investigating, and mitigating risks related to compromised carrier accounts, fraudulent activity, and inventory theft. The team will work cross-functionally with internal departments and external partners to ensure secure and compliant logistics operations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in logistics, compliance, fraud prevention, or risk management.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with carrier vetting platforms (e.g., RMIS).
  • Experience working with insurance documentation and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive investigations with discretion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end processes for identifying and resolving compromised carrier accounts due to fraud.
  • Monitor carrier activity using the Risk Factor feature in RMIS and respond to alerts indicating suspicious behavior.
  • Investigate anomalies in carrier behavior, documentation, or transaction patterns.
  • Ensure carriers maintain appropriate insurance coverage based on vehicle types.
  • Conduct regular audits of insurance documentation and expiration dates.
  • Collaborate with RMIS and internal systems to flag and follow up on non-compliant carriers.
  • Partner with Manheim Security, Claims, and Central Dispatch teams to investigate and resolve incidents involving theft or loss of inventory.
  • Monitor high-value vehicle inventory and ensure assignments are made only to trusted carriers with verified insurance and compliance status.
  • Serve as a liaison between Logistics, Security, Claims, and Compliance teams to streamline fraud response and prevention efforts.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal teams on fraud indicators and escalation procedures.
  • Maintain dashboards and reports tracking fraud incidents, carrier risk scores, insurance compliance, and theft investigations.
  • Analyze trends to identify emerging risks and recommend proactive measures.
  • Develop and refine SOPs for fraud detection, carrier vetting, and inventory protection.
  • Recommend system enhancements to improve fraud detection capabilities.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and regulatory changes impacting logistics fraud and risk management.
