About The Position

As a Sr. UX Researcher for John Deere World Headquarters located in Moline, Illinois or Des Moines, Iowa you will join the Digital Aftermarket UX team and have the incredible opportunity to conduct dealer and customer-centric research. You will play a key role and work with product management, data teams, and other UX roles to ensure the digital aftermarket products are built on user sentiment, value, and insights. In this position, you will conduct primary, discovery, and validation research on critical customer and dealer digital aftermarket product experiences. You will plan and execute a variety of qualitative and quantitative research activities, synthesize and translate key insights into actionable product and process recommendations, and work cross-functionally to share research data to achieve valuable end-to-end experiences for our customers and dealers.

Requirements

  • 4 or more years of experience in UX research, with a strong focus on user-centered methodologies.
  • Proficiency in various research techniques, including voice of the customer initiatives, journey mapping, and qualitative touchpoint analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify key themes and trends from primary data sources and business intelligence tools.
  • Excellent project management abilities to design and execute end-to-end research projects effectively.
  • Familiarity with data analytics reporting and the ability to prepare comprehensive reports that clearly communicate research insights.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Experience in defining and validating Information Architecture to ensure optimal user experience.

  • A proven track record of influencing product design decisions through comprehensive research and actionable customer insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and implement improvements to existing processes and systems.

  • A strong advocacy for user-centered design principles with the ability to champion user needs throughout the organization.
  • Experience with both dealer and customer research.
  • Experience with analytics and monitoring platforms, such as Datadog, to understand user behaviors.
  • Experience using design software, such as Figma, to showcase flows, journey mapping, and lo-fi design recommendations.
