About The Position

Pizza Hut is looking for a customer obsessed Sr. User Experience Designer who is passionate about their craft and helping the Pizza Hut System of restaurants deliver the very best pizza to the communities in which they serve. Supporting our technology and product teams, UXD contributes to this goal by designing customer-centered experiences across all US products including PizzaHut.com, the Pizza Hut mobile app, and in-house solutions that help our franchise partners succeed. It's a fast-paced environment where decisions are data-focused, collaborative, and iterative. The organization deeply values design, research, and analytics.

Requirements

• 5+ years of UX or related experience is preferred
• A degree in a related field such as interactive design, visual communications, graphic design, or human factors is preferred
• A digital portfolio showcasing your design skills, storytelling, and thinking that we can review online is required
• Drive to optimize and design systems for internal teams and product experiences
• Experience working on agile teams delivering value in digital products
• Experience collaborating with research to discover and evaluate evidence-based and data-driven design decisions
• An array of design skills, which might include visual, conversational, information architecture, prototyping, strategic design methods (such as design thinking), user research, or writing
• Ability to design across all experiences including desktop, web, mobile, and native apps
• Effective communication as a writer, presenter, and facilitator; equally at ease speaking with product developers or executives
• A foundational understanding of development knowledge, both web and mobile
• Familiarity with the value of design systems, understanding reuse and scale, and knowing when to contribute to make them better
• Partnering with user research to understand the customer problems to tackle
• Distilling qualitative and quantitative feedback to unearth recurring themes and promote data-driven design decisions
• An unwavering curiosity to ask why

Responsibilities

• Lead the design strategy and execution on their product team, with guidance and coaching from UX and product leadership
• Help define the design work that delivers business outcomes for their product teams
• Consult with the product owners, technology partners, and research to help inform product strategy that cultivates value
• Contribute to the culture of our UXD and product teams

Benefits

• Salary Range: $106,700 - $125,400 + bonus eligibility
