Sr. React Developers are responsible for the development, programming, and coding of Information Technology solutions using ReactJS, Redux, D3 and NodeJS to enable Florida Blue Customer Experience applications. Sr IT Developers are responsible for documenting detailed system specifications, participation in unit testing and maintenance of planned and unplanned internally developed applications, evaluation and performance testing of purchased products. Sr IT Developers are responsible for including IT Controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, as well as availability of the application and data processed or output by the application. Sr IT Developers lead efforts, oversee work results, provide training and serve as a technical resource for other Developers.

  • Develop and code IT solutions using ReactJS, Redux, D3, and NodeJS.
  • Document detailed system specifications.
  • Participate in unit testing and maintenance of applications.
  • Evaluate and perform testing of purchased products.
  • Implement IT controls to protect application and data integrity.
  • Lead efforts and oversee work results.
  • Provide training and serve as a technical resource for other developers.
  • Experience with unit testing, release procedures, coding design and documentation protocol.
  • Proficiency using MERN and MEAN Scaffolding tools.
  • Demonstrated organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
  • Ability to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback.
  • Strong communication skills for technical information.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
  • In-depth understanding of the systems development life cycle.
  • Proficiency in React.Js, Node.JS, JavaScript, and HTML.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript/jQuery, local storage, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Experience with modern web/UI development tools: Node, Webpack, Grunt/Gulp, GIT, Axios, Jest.
  • Client-side templating experience with mustache.js, handlebars.js, panni.js, and dust.js.
  • Proficiency in standard desktop applications such as MS Suite and flowcharting tools like Visio.
  • Experience with debugging tools such as Advanced Debugger, Allinea DDT, AQtime, ARM, CA/EZTEST.
  • Solid knowledge of DOM manipulation and client-side validation.
  • High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions.
  • Experience with responsive grid systems.
  • Solid knowledge of React and Redux principles.
  • Experience in Health Care or Financial domains.
  • Experience using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodology.
  • Experience with mobile design (native and mobile web).
  • Experience with Foundation.
  • Knowledge of web accessibility guidelines and requirements.
