About The Position

Qualcomm is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Treasury accounting team. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting related to treasury functions, including investments, hedges, and debt management. The position requires hands-on involvement in accounting tasks, preparation of SEC reporting schedules, and support for internal stakeholders, while also driving process enhancements and ensuring compliance with SOX requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of Accounting, Finance, or related work experience.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated analytical thinking, project management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Accounting and reporting of treasury functions including investments and hedges.
• Prepare quarterly reporting schedules for SEC requirements.
• Assist in month-end and quarter-end closing processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Support internal stakeholders such as Treasury Operations and Legal.
• Drive initiatives for process enhancements and automation.
• Ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
