This role follows a hybrid work model , requiring regular attendance at one of these office locations. What you'll be challenged to do: The ideal candidate is excited to work on a variety of complex projects with colleagues who enjoy all aspects of design and engineering analysis. Our ITS Traffic Team generally works on projects involving design alternative analyses, engineering studies, small to large-scale traffic analyses, safety studies, travel demand modeling, and design of traffic signals, signing, pavement markings, and lighting. Our success has been built on teamwork with our colleagues in highway, bridge, stormwater, and utility design. We strive for innovation and ingenuity in our designs so we can provide the best outcome for all transportation users. Proven ability to work in a team environment and share experience and expertise with teammates is ideal. A successful candidate should be able to plan, conduct and coordinate traffic engineering work, prepare reports, plans and specs for design projects, and monitor multiple project schedules and budgets.
