We are looking for a candidate with previous work experience in the financial and trading industry, who has strong analytical skills and is target driven. The Trade Support Analyst will be part of the Trade Support team responding to emails and queries from coming the Trade desk and Customer service, reviewing, testing, and communicating these issues with the Order Execution Dev team.

  • First line of response to customer trading, system functionality questions and problems
  • Write detailed user stories for production support items in Jira
  • Learn proprietary trading system functionality along with back-office company supported programs to effectively communicate with clients and resolve customer queries
  • Interact with the company's trade desk to identify technical issues and performance enhancements
  • Manage client contacts as well as escalation path through problem ownership
  • Provide assistance to proprietary traders
  • Interact with Product Owners and Developers on system requirements and improvements
  • Monitor actively and respond to alerts within technology atmosphere
  • Test new software releases and deploy to production
  • Optimize system uptime by monitoring, using change management methods and quick response to any outage
  • Manage circumstances inclusive of incident resolution process
  • Develop as well as maintain system documentation
  • Collaborate with various team members to accomplish firm goals
  • Provide off-hours as well as remote support
  • Manage document management, records management, portals, collaboration, imaging, and workflow applications
  • Create simple database queries using T-SQL
  • Produce organized and informative system documentation, including details of application configuration and installation and client infrastructure
  • Contribute to and maintain a knowledge base of previous support issues
  • Train users on applications and help them resolve application issues
  • Test and prove that the software meets architectural requirements
  • 24x7 Production support for all DN and OX incidents
  • Fix customer onboarding and support
  • Participate team on call rotation
  • Lead daily market open calls to proactively monitor system health and address any incidents that come up
  • Perform monthly compliance testing on OX systems
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fields
  • 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Technologies is desired
  • 3+ years of experience with AWS, Microsoft SQL Server, C++, C#, or .NET is required
  • Experience in AWS, client/server/SQL based systems
  • Some knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP and network connectivity protocols
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills to determine root causes of complex issues is required
  • Trading knowledge is preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL, Visual Studio C++ preferred
  • Software testing experience is a plus preferred
  • Scripting knowledge of VBScript, JavaScript, Python, PowerShell is desired
