Your Opportunity: Manage and monitor the company's compliance with global trade regulations, including but not limited to export controls, customs regulations, sanctions, and embargoes. Stay updated on relevant trade compliance laws and regulations, and provide guidance to internal stakeholders on compliance requirements. Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas of risk and develop strategies to mitigate potential compliance issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement and improve trade compliance policies and procedures. Oversee the classification of products by ensuring accurate tariff codes, export controls, and partner government agencies (PGA) information. Serve as a subject matter expert on trade compliance, providing training and guidance to employees across the organization. Handle import and export licensing processes, including applications, renewals, and record keeping. Effectively communicate with external partners, such as customs brokers, freight forwarders, and regulatory agencies, to ensure smooth and compliant movement of goods. Monitor and investigate potential violations of trade compliance regulations, and assist in implementing corrective actions.
