The Sr. Third Party Logistics Manager is a pivotal role within Amazon's logistics framework, serving as both an advisor and operational partner to Delivery Service Partners (DSPs). This position is integral to assisting DSP business owners in establishing and expanding their last mile package delivery operations within Amazon Logistics (AMZL). The Sr. Third Party Logistics Manager will not only help initiate new business ventures but also uphold the standards of excellence that our partners aspire to achieve. This role involves guiding DSPs on business improvement strategies, ensuring they are equipped to navigate challenges effectively and make informed decisions that lead to success in their operations. In this capacity, the Sr. Third Party Logistics Manager will engage with a diverse portfolio of DSP owners at various stages of their business journey. They will be responsible for setting strategic directions, driving accountability, and tracking key performance metrics. Collaboration is key, as the manager will work closely with internal stakeholders, including Partner Relations (PAR), Value Added Service (VAS), and legal teams, to enhance operational efficiency and safety practices across the network. The role also requires the execution of Monitoring and Enforcement Policies (MEP) and the establishment of feedback channels between DSPs and internal teams, ensuring a seamless flow of information and support. The position demands a flexible approach, with frequent travel to multiple sites to engage with DSP owners on a weekly basis. This field-based role is essential for maintaining close oversight of the delivery process and ensuring that partners have the necessary resources to meet operational demands, particularly during peak periods. The Sr. Third Party Logistics Manager will play a crucial role in fostering strong relationships with DSPs, advocating for their needs within the AMZL business, and championing the consistent application of last mile processes to enhance overall performance and brand integrity.
